A collection of playgrounds, rusted tennis courts, strolling areas and a large vandalized fountain that used to pay homage to the city's long-forgotten founder.

A large, once colorfully ornamented church now run down and made filthy by the destitute and invalid; few capable people venture through its doors except to offer help to those still clinging to their faith.

| Residential (1 sub-board)
What were once quaint rows of comfortable housing just inside the city limits now serve as looting grounds for survivors. Townhouses, apartments, and some small houses line the deteriorating streets.

| The Bay Tower (2 sub-boards)
If a bunch of coperations piled up ontop of one other, a starbucks, a wedding planning company, a tax office, a shop here, and office there, this would be the Bay Tower. It towers almost precariously over the bay and offers an exellent view of the dead city from it's deck.

| The Laius Theatre (2 sub-boards)
An old-style stadium theatre that features both a stage and a screen. Greek tragedies, vaudville acts, newsreels and b-movies all have had their fair share of time here.

| Eos City Zoo
They say that a caged animal only tries to escape when maltreated or threatened. Shortly before the Shutdown, every animal in the facility went mad and destroyed their keepers and each other in the effort to run. Some may remain... feeding off remains.

| Boulevards
The wide, sweeping streets of the city, lined with the various empty stores and buildings of the entertainment district.

| Police Department
The scent of corruption, betrayal and murder still swims through the torid, undisturbed air of the cubicles, interrogation rooms and cells. The records in the drawers do not describe the dirty happenings of the rooms they rest in, but there are few to care anymore.

| Tacit Care Hospital
The Shutdown wasn't long enough ago to reduce the hospital to eerie hallways filled with outdated medicinal oddities and the plausible ghost, but too soon to dispel the smell of forgotten patients or give a sense of total abandonment to the still sterile operating rooms.

| Accelerated Data Analecta
The ADA houses paper records of every kind, all blocked off to citizens before the Shutdown and uninteresting to the looting survivors after.

| Comprehensive Treatment Facility 8 (1 sub-board)
The facility is starch white walls, sharp black spaces and sheer metal. It's a mix of hospital, mental asylum and labratory and nothing but bloodstains remain... at least on the aboveground floors.

| Sector 3 Mobility Avenues
Dozens of small, grid-like streets criss-cross the downtown area. Many of them are one-way streets, but as most people move on foot their function is moot.

| Sector 4 |
| Ned's Handybits
A sprawling junkyard, virtually unchanged by the Shutdown. Ned still lives in his decrepit shack and still yells at anyone who tries to climb over the barbed wire fence...but he doesn't have his government-funded security system anymore...

| ES4B News Station (1 sub-board)
The cameras rest steady on their tripods, ready again to start the daily report. The monitors are alive and a steady broadcast of the latest news headlines streams out into the air, repeating the same message it did the day of the Shutdown into to all the now empty homes.

| General Steel Wares
A complex of factories once specializing in the production of everything from steel beams to coathangers to guns to surgical implements. Some intrepid citizens have taken it upon themselves to take what's left and act as arms-dealers, selling weaponry for food rations. Nobody dares explore the deeper parts of the factories, however, as dangerous steel equipment may still be functioning.

| Tacker's
An old warehouse, abandoned long before the Shutdown, turned into an anger-driven club filled with sporadic dances and hard-to-come-by beer and hard liquor. A hard place, but not the worst in Eos City: here, people want to have fun or die trying.

| Streets and Alleyways (1 sub-board)
These streets were always kind of crumby. So in a way, this area hasn't changed so much.

| The Underground |
| Sewers
An intricate system of sewer tunnels under the city, some filled or caved in, some cleared out, some stuffed with rotting filth.

| Bunker
Accessible by a huge knocked down door in the Sewer, this army bunker was mysteriously cleared of all sensitive information before the civilian population found it, open and empty. There's still a ton of food down there, but it's army rations. Why the hell would you eat those.

| Subway (4 sub-boards)
An underground transit system, with most of the power out of operation. The trains are haphazardly located throughout the tunnels, abandoned after they stopped working. Some of the routes are completely blocked, but most of them are accessible to anyone on foot.
**Posts that take place in the tunnels are posted in this forum; those that take place in specific stations are posted in the appropriate sub-forum.
**There are other stops along the Subway, feel free to make up and RP other stations if you so desire.

| The Edge |
| The Docks (2 sub-boards)
Fish is one of the strongest and most lasting smells in this world, but does not compare to the rotten odor of pollution and death that has seeped into the bay. The effect is more than a smell; the water is hardly that anymore: it is now a thick, black ooze that slowly grips the wood of the dock and creeps into the waterfront.

| Farmlands
The surrounding farmlands were not affected much instantly by the Shutdown. Hardier crops seem to have kept their ground against the invading forest ecosystem, but the monoculture is slowly but surely failing with no one left to protect it.

| Riverbed and Forest
Thick green flora once dominated the surrounding area but when the river dried up, the plants and trees began to die too. Rain hardly ever graces this place and in anycase it would do little for the dusty riverbed and long dead fish.
