Sally decided to ignore the teen-critter for now...she wasn't doing any harm, and it was unlikely she could escape without Sally's help. So, her attention could be focused on Claudio for now.
"I understand. I'm afraid I've never had much use for self-help books in regards to addictions, but sometimes, all it takes is finding ways to distract yourself from what you're addicted to until all the toxic stuff is out of your system. That, and, " She smiled again, "Distracting yourself trains new neural pathways in your brain so that you're able to focus on things other than what ails you."

Kreelybug went silent. She didn't want to move, and they were ignoring her. Good! She didn't mind being left to herself. That was something she was quite used to, and could cope with. When people weren't talking at her, or even to her, she found it much easier to think without getting lost. She had definately made Sally angry, and, remembering how vicious and unforgiving the traps were, she didn't want to make things worse. The woman wanted to be payed back for the fruit, and hadn't responded to the offer of it's safe return. Well, return, anyway. The thing had had roughly a quarter of it's thick outer skin peeled away. Bug had kept the peelings, though. They interested her. Focus. Repay Sally. Kreelybug went over her posessions-knife, elastic band, string, water-STOP. No way was Bug giving up her bottle of water. Wait. She still had the Happy Planet. Maybe that would work? It was food-ish, and definately had fruit in. Bug didn't give much thought to the Claudio, but recognised him and made note of his presence. He wasn't angry, and that almost stopped him from being a potential threat.
She didn't want to get off of the roof. It wasn't safe on the ground. There were traps, and people, and cracks in the sidewalk that looked as though they'd swallow you up if you stepped on them. They'd open and chomp you down and send out little orange minions to break your mother's back. FOCUS. The roof was safe, but if she went down, Sally mightn't be so angry anymore. But... If Bug went down onto the ground, she was in reach, and there were traps. And she might grab the wrong branch, and get shot. Shot meant ow... But, the ground was a wider space. There were more places to hide, and she could get onto other roofs, or climbs up a different tree, or hide under a bridge somewhere. She could find food on the ground. There wasn't anything remotely edible to be found on the roof.
For a moment, Kreely Trapper knew what it was to not be an insect, or even an arachnid.

Claudio is impressed by Sally's knowledge. She knows what she's talking about. Of course a self help book on addiction wouldn't help him! It would just give him a caffeine headache. (Wince.)
"You know, you're right. I just need to find something to do that will replace coffee (wince) in my life."
He looked up to the alleged intruder on the roof, thinking to herself. Turning back to Sally, he said, "It doesn't look like she's going to come down for a while..."
Claudio sighed. He'd rather be inside Barnes & Noble right now, or learning how to pick locks. The traps bothered him, and he didn't have any desire to see the perplexing teenager get diced to bits. That would completely ruin his day. And lunch. Forever.

Sally sighed softly, realizing that the poor girl probably had been rather traumatized after triggering her rather frightening traps, and after all, the poor kid was on the roof. That's never easy to get down from. She examined her lawn, to see which traps had been sprung, and which ones were not. The wheels in her head were clearly turning behind her eyes.
"Please, won't you stop in for a while, Claudio?" She abruptly smiled to Claudio, "I'll guide you through the lawn, there's mostly a clear path, but you need to step exactly where I tell you to."
And then to the girl, "I'll come up and get you down, okay? I'm sorry you were scared. I've never seen anyone get past my traps and remain unscathed, so frankly, I'm impressed. Not as much angry anymore." And Sally began making her way casually through the path that Bug had cleared.

Impressed? That was a new one. Even her uncle Jake hadn't ever been 'impressed' by anything she had ever accomplished. There was the coveted Nod of Recognition, though, and that was just as good. Sally said she wasn't angry, and she was smiling that strange smile of hers. This meant she was either telling the truth, and was going to help Kreely-Bug off the roof, to safety, or was plotting something. Bug slipped into her more 'calculating' mindset- the one she had used when her Uncle Jake had written up all those mathematic problems for her to solve- and weighed up the situation. How likely was it that Bug could avoid the traps again? She could walk where she'd been before, but how Sally spoke to Claudio about stepping exactly where she told him implied that there were far, far more than she had encountered, and following the same path as before would be almost as stupid as jumping off the roof this moment, and making a break for it. She would have to wait for Sally, and hope the woman was telling the truth about her mood. Either way, Kreely Trapper had to get off the roof and on to the ground.
"Here's waiting, miss." A strained grin tugged at her lips, unbidden, and she brushed a curl of hair out of her face. One of the little hairs had become stuck in the corner of her mouth, and gotten stuck in her teeth. She licked her teeth with her mouth closed, wrinkling her pointed, slightly beaky nose. She then scuttled nearer to the edge of the roof, and watched Sally step nonchalantly over, and the Claudio stand there, looking dismayed and a bit bedraggled to say the least, not that Bug had any right to comment, scruffy and frazzled as she was. She blinked, and waited.
Bug -hated- it when she had to depend on other people for just about anything. That was why she spent so much time wandering, avoiding school, people, and team activities... But, she needed help, and she knew it. This was messed... They couldn't live off of the scraps of former days forever.

OOC: Slowest RP ever XD
"Sure, I'd like that," Claudio sincerely responded. It was something to do, and after all, that's all he needed to pass the time. And if Sally could show him how to pick locks, he could not only get into the bookstore but he could also salvage supplies if he needed them- without the help of others. After all, he needed to be capable of surviving by himself at some point.
Unsure of whether or not he was supposed to follow Sally, Claudio remained on the sidewalk. Although he did want to go in, being impaled wouldn't exactly help his headache. He wasn't going to move until she specifically directed him. Those traps were vicious.
