 A Note about Time Zones
« Thread Started on Jun 26, 2007, 10:40am »

It's kinda gross to have your timezone and the board's timezone not match - as in really confusing. The default right now is EST but we're observing daylight savings time... and confusion ensues. Well, especially if you're not in EST.

It's all fixable in your modify profile option under Date and Time... so do put DST on in addition to resetting the timezone, if you need to.

It just took me like five years to figure this out so I thought I'd share. I don't know when the hell we begin observing this extra hour or not, I just kinda follow the herd.

But hey, if I've helped just one person, then I'm happy. :D

It seems you were successful... I completely overlooked the DST option, and was wondering why this clock was an hour behind. Now it works :D
